‘There’s also a lot more conversations surrounding consent, respect and on-set conduct,’ she added.

Caitlin also recently spoke about how the on-set culture differs when it comes to making porn versus mainstream films.

‘The porn world is a complicated one, but like any industry there are myriad experiences you can have. Mine have all been exceedingly positive, respectful and professional,’ she told  in January.

She later added: ‘Traditional film sets are often dominated by men, and it may surprise people to know that porn child sets are incredibly diverse, often captained by queer people all along the gender spectrum.’

Caitlin has directed three short erotic films for Afterglow, each one focusing on female empowerment, intimacy and sexual inclusivity.

One of her films, titled U Up?, also explores the idea of intimacy during COVID-19 lockdown by telling the story of a couple who have a sexual encounter via their mobile phones.
